Everyone loves an auction right? Silver Lining Pet Rescue is hosting our very own cent auction for the pets at the Caloundra Girls Guide Hut on August 18th 2pm!!

What is a cent auction?

Cent auctions provide a range of value prizes (some low and some high) that are bid on using tickets.

Every Entrant will receive a sheet of 10 tickets which can be used to place a bid on an item of the entrants choice. Whether it being one ticket or multiple, there are no limits. The entrant ‘bids’ for their desired items by placing as many tickets as they want in a box numbered to correspond with the prize. A ticket is drawn from the box – like a raffle – determining the winner. Sheets bear the same number stub that the entrant retains.

What prizes will be available to bid on?

Silver Lining Pet Rescue has a variety of prizes for both humans and pets that have been kindly donated by a numerous amount of supporters. There will be items such as Sukin skin care pack, girls beauty gift pack, state of origin merchandise, quilt sets, kids items, home decor, pet packs, BBQ packs, body shop packs, kitchen appliances, dinner sets and much more!

Every entrant will go into the draw to win a lucky door prize! There will even be something for those who don’t win a ‘bid’. If you run out of tickets before the auction starts, don’t worry!! Additional sheets will be available for purchase for only $2!

Tea and coffee are free for every entry, with food available for purchase along with other goodies for sale.
